Rusty

I bout my 1987 YJ in October of 2006 for $2500.00 120,000miles.

Since then I have changed the carbuertor from stock to Motorcraft 3000 I bought off ebay for $350. Put a new starter on. New spark plugs and wires. Put a 3.5" Blackdiamond lift on bought from http://www.4wd.com Part #: 780496K Black Diamond’s YJ Wrangler Suspension Kits come with four AT Shock Absorbers with boots and four replacement leaf springs. The 3.5" Kit features military wrapped leaves, while the 1.5" springs are similar to factory specifications. All springs have black polyurethane bushings and anti-friction pads between the tapered leaf ends. The 3.5" Kit also includes a transfer case lowering kit, front and rear track bar relocation brackets, front and rear bump stop extensions, extended anti-sway bar links, and brake hose relocation brackets. All kits include new U-Bolts with self-locking hardware and all necessary installation hardware. Limited Lifetime Warranty. Also had the transfer case lowering kit. It was worth my money my jeep is now beautiful, but I did have to call http://www.4wd.com twice to get the right parts. And all i got was a free ($5) t-shirt.

Dropped the oil pan and cleaned that out. Put new spark plugs and wires on it, New engine module, new coil, New radiator, New fan

1st day I took her mudding

December 2nd, 2006. I know thats a long time to have a Jeep sit and not get her dirty but i had some trouble getting her licensed and plus I didn't have my license. but this was the day and it was worth the wait. plus im a rookie so that was interesting.

Unfortuantely I had to sell my YJ in May 0f 2008, because I needed some money to pay for college:( I haven't been able to do much mudding since then, but I plan on getting a CJ7 or 5 to replace her.

I named my baby

I named my YJ, "Rusty." Because it's old and got a few spots.
