I recently bought a 1980 CJ7, for $1,800. 304 v8
Specs
A 1980 CJ7.
304 v8 4spd.
With a dana 300 transfer case.
Model 20 one piece rear axle and Dana 30 front axle.
pretty much stock.
Wheelbase= 93.5"

Name
I finally after continuous though decided on a name for my cj. Her name is dixie which the meaning is strong. Also if you've ever seen Dukes of Hazard her CJ7's name was dixie.
What I've done so far...
I just changed the spark plugs and wires, the heat finally works!! and the radiator because it had a hole in it. I also just put on my German winch that I got for $300 and has been sitting around the house for about three years
June 1, 2009 I have added Super Swamper TSLS 31x10.50 and cragar soft black wheels.
I am taking off the fender flares, and thinking body work now...
